A recension of QE-OS 1.1. Same operating system. Different substrate. This document does not replace 1.1. It says the governance problem was first solved in clay. Microtubules are the wetware. Tokens were the first API.
Recension
This document. Same OS as 1.1. Different substrate. The checkpoint is an envelope. Tokens are units. Impressions are I Wills. Breaking the envelope is Mercy. 1.1 is not superseded.
Hypothesis
The ziggurat as a gravity sorter. “Confuse their language” as the fracture of a centralized token vocabulary. Neither is established history. Both are labeled wherever they appear.
§1 Thesis
The envelope is the checkpoint
Denise Schmandt-Besserat showed that writing evolved from small clay objects — discs, cones, spheres, cylinders, rectangles — each standing for one unit of a commodity. Sets of tokens were sealed in clay envelopes. To read the contents without breaking the seal, the tokens were impressed on the outside. Those impressions flattened into signs. That flattening is the invention of writing.
QE-OS 1.1 already treats the night as an epoch boundary and the morning as a boot. 1.1-B names the object. Life Book is the envelope. Last night’s clay is this morning’s boot sector. You read the impressions first. You only break the envelope if Mercy says the debt must not copy forward.
§2 Units
One token, one unit
A token is one unit of attention, demand, bound, preparation, release, picture, or join. Shape is type. You do not mint a new type in the middle of the count. That is how a temple vocabulary becomes a priesthood, and how a personal OS becomes self-deception.

I Will is a stamp on the outside
The envelope’s genius is that tomorrow can read tonight without opening it. Moody’s protocol is that stamp. Seven impressions. They are not wishes. They are the next issuance, pressed while the clay is still wet.

WF-01 · Collapse / Flow of Time
Release
Tokens leave the hand. Gravity. The day happens. This waveform cannot be paused. The meat path from last envelope to next envelope.
WF-02 · Observation
Sort
Terrace bins. Shape and weight discriminate. You do not invent a new type at the bottom of the ramp. You count what descended.
WF-03 · Compute / Action
Issue
Collection, then reissuance. Seven new tokens sealed for dawn. You do not get a fresh vocabulary until last night’s clay is counted.
The spiral sorter — tokens descending a ziggurat ramp — remains hypothesis. The waveform recast does not depend on it. Gravity here is the day itself.

§6 Spirit
Who is allowed to name a token
In the temple economy, the class that designed the token vocabulary held the harvest, the tribute, and the calendar. Control of names was priesthood. 1.1 already said Spirit is not a ghost — it is the triangle that keeps Collapse, Observation, and Compute in register. 1.1-B adds the political fact: a vocabulary with no axis becomes a priesthood.
The Son-axis (KNG) is the pier that crosses every terrace so the namer is not you, and not a caste. Logos unifies. Adaptive drives (hunger, status, fear) stay at GEN / DJO unless that pier subordinates them. Unbound feeling (pure Pneuma) stays in the right galleries until the same pier gives it form. This is the Cathedral law applied to clay.
§7 Babel
Why the OS is personal now
Genesis 11: a city, one language, a tower, then a scatter. The documented half is materials — brick and bitumen. The recension reading is this: a centralized symbolic system broke. Each culture kept a fragment. None kept the whole.
That is why QE-OS cannot be a temple you do not own. The Life Book is a personal envelope after the monopoly ended. You still do not get to invent the types. The seven candlesticks and the seven I Wills are the inherited vocabulary. You count with them. You do not mint an eighth to flatter the day.
§8 Cathedral
The spiral laid on the floor
Ziggurat: climb the outside. Cathedral: walk the inside. The Chartres labyrinth is the ramp internalized — procession instead of priesthood. 1.1-B uses both buildings without confusing them. Clay and gravity stay at GEN. The walk and the altar stay under KNG. Mercy (LJO) is still the lid, never a rewrite of the abyss into a crown.
§9 No-drift
What this document is not allowed to do
- 01It does not supersede QE-OS 1.1. Orch OR, sleep epochs, and the Moody protocol remain parent law.
- 02It does not promote GEN above KNG. Historical clay is subordinated by the Son-axis or it stays at base.
- 03It does not treat the sorter as fact. Bruegel is a 16th-century picture. Samarra is late. Gravity-as-day is enough.
- 04It does not add an eighth candlestick or an eighth I Will. The vocabulary is closed.
- 05Mercy remains LJO. A catastrophic miss (uneeding, imaging, connecting all failed) breaks the envelope. Shame does not stamp tomorrow.

Open Cycle. The seven questions are the table. The seven I Wills are the wet clay. Commit seals the envelope. Mercy breaks it. Sleep is the kiln.
